Death — at a glance
The Death card is, statistically, the most feared card in the tarot — and the most misunderstood. In the vast majority of readings, Death does not predict literal death. It signals the end of something that has run its course: a chapter of life, a pattern of behavior, a relationship or situation that can no longer continue as it is.
And with every ending comes space — for something new, something more aligned, something that the old pattern was preventing from entering. Death is not loss. It is transformation.

Transformation & Endings
Something is ending — and it needs to. Death rarely predicts literal death. It signals the end of a chapter, a pattern, an identity that has run its course. What is completing in your life? And what might be possible once you release it?
Resistance to Change
You may be clinging to something that is already over — a relationship, a belief, a version of yourself that no longer fits. Death reversed asks: what are you holding on to out of fear? What would be released if you finally let go?
